Both Parents and students should keep in mind the following norms of discipline:
- Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct on the part of students will make them liable for disciplinary action.
- Parents are co-educators of the child, so it is essential to mould the character of your ward.
- Parents are expected to meet the class teachers on specific days at the allotted time to discuss the progress of their ward.
- Kindly avoid withdrawing your ward from classes for social functions as it affects the child's progress and diminishes his/her interest in regular hard work.
- Parents/guardians/visitors are not allowed to enter the classroom or speak to teachers during class hours.
- If a student needs to leave the school premises during school hours, parents should send the request letter. This will be sanctioned by the principal and should be handed over to the class teacher by the student before leaving the school premises. Verbal requests through messengers or students themselves to allow them to go home will not be considered.
- Change in address or telephone numbers of parents must be intimated to the school, failing which the school will not be responsible for the non-receipt of communications.
- Kindly avoid criticizing the school or the staff in public or in your child's presence because by doing so, the child's attitude towards the school becomes unhealthy and detrimental to the child's growth into an emotionally balanced individual.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, and school functions, and be cooperative with the school. Any legitimate complaint should be brought to the notice of the principal.
- If a student is found to have done damage to the class or to school property, the parent will have to make good the loss.
- In case of contagious disease keep the child at home. Please inform the class teacher of any congenital disorder, physical, psychological or emotional problem of your ward to enable the authorities to take care during emergency.
- Any student caught copying in any examination or test or found committing malpractice will be awarded zero marks.
- Do not give excessive money, expensive/fancy stationary, mobile phones, etc. to your child.
- Gold ornaments, jewellery, and costly articles are any circumstances.
- CD’s, pen drives, mobile phones, cameras, video games, chewing gum, firecrackers, periodicals, comics, fancy articles, sharp-edged instruments, Smart watches, etc. should not be brought to school. If found guilty, the articles will be confiscated and a fine will be imposed.
- Parents are requested to monitor the time spent on TV viewing, and use of computers, the internet, and mobile phone. Overexposure and unmonitored use could be detrimental to their performance at school as well as their overall development.
- If a child has an injury or accident in school, first aid is given in the school. If it is serious, the parent is informed. In an emergency, the child may be immediately hospitalized. However, in the event of any mishap, the school does not take any legal responsibility.
- Your ward should come to school with a neat and clean uniform, well-polished shoes, clean socks, belt, etc. every day and maintain good hygiene.
- On birthdays, students may wear casual clothes; the child may donate a book to the school library as a befitting gift.
- The school counsellor is available in all the class days. In the event of any academic or emotional stress, you may contact the counsellor through the class teacher.
- We expect our students to be well-mannered.
- Any change in your address or phone number should be intimated to the school office.
- The student and parent should check the school handbook EVERY EVENING. Remarks made in the handbook by the principal /Teacher should be taken note of and counter-signed.
- Punctuality is the key to success. Students should be present in the school, before 8.45 am.
- If your ward faces any problem in school, please inform the authorities at the earliest.
- Absence of more than 3 days should be informed to the principal in writing.
